Our multinational investment bank client based in London has an opportunity for a Finance Manager/Director who will work within the UK Central Finance Accounting Team. Internally this team's profile is changing as the finance teams are redesigning with the creation of the Finance Director roles which are attracting external BIG4 or Professional advisory candidates. The transformation from transaction managers that focus on reporting and compliance to business partners and value managers requires huge structural change, organisational realignment, end to end process re-engineering and recalibration of staff. Finance, as an integral part of the bank's management, will support the creation of value by identifying opportunities and providing critical information, analysis and challenge to enable superior operating and strategic decision making.
To be successful in this role you will ideally be a BIG4 or National Top 10 Chartered Accountant with experience and an understanding of how decisions and issues impact the front to back architecture of the organsiation. In addition to this you will have excellent communication skills (including formal process documentation techniques) and will also have experience of profit and loss (P&L) and balance sheet reporting along with extensive project management experience. Candidates who are looking to relocate to London will be supported with some relocation expenses. These are huge opportunities for ACA "first time movers"(with finanial services audit/advisory experience) who want a long term career with one of the world's premier investment businesses. |
