Our exclusive client is a formidable player in its niche retail field with a “roll out” plan which has seen their business more than quadruple in size to nearly £200m in turnover and a significant, healthy operating profit. This privately owned business is now looking to appoint an established CFO to complement it’s Board and take an active part in the continued organic growth.

- The ideal candidate will have an impressive track record in a retail/multi-site environment – ideally working within high pressure, high volume – low margin environments where “every penny counts”.
- BIG 4 Background, preferably with a solid Corporate Finance grounding and the ability to interact with professional advisors, funders and potentially private equity investors.
- Private Equity experience would be ideal but not essential.
- Experience of working in a privately owned, entrepreneurial business where strategy can change by the hour!
- Exceptionally strong systems skills with the ability to challenge processes (and devise/implement solutions!)
- The enthusiasm and sheer determination to run a high profile and challenging business.

Undoubtedly there are easier “maintain the status quo” roles in the market – this is not one of them.
